Thanks to this, the risk of encountering problems of any kind is extremely low.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some complications that may occur:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Capsular contracture<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Capsular contracture refers to the formation of scar tissue around the breast implant. This is a normal part of the healing process and, in the vast majority of cases, does not cause problems for the patient.<\/p>\n<p>However, in some cases, the body creates an excessive amount of scar tissue, which can compress the breast implant causing it to harden and become painful.<\/p>\n<p>In case of excessive capsular contracture, the surgeon may perform one or more additional procedures to remove the excess scar tissue.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Mammography obstruction<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Especially in the case of implants placed subglandularly, they can obstruct mammography results.
