Dr. Federica Mariotti graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome and subsequently specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of Bologna.

During her training, she focused on arthroscopic and prosthetic surgical treatment for traumatic and degenerative joint pathologies. She had the opportunity to deepen her knowledge in collaboration with various departments and leading professionals in the field at the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute and its branches in Bagheria (Rizzoli Sicily Department) and the orthopedic department in Bentivoglio (BO), as well as at the Agostino Gemelli Polyclinic in Rome. She learned conservative and innovative surgical techniques such as computer-assisted planning for prosthetic surgery and minimally invasive surgery or innovative arthroscopic techniques.

Dr. Mariotti has also participated in numerous national and international congresses and professional training courses, some of which she presented at as a speaker (particularly at the congresses of the Italian Hip Society, Italian Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology, Italian Arthroscopy Society).

She is the author of several scientific abstracts accepted and presented at national and international congresses and scientific publications published in orthopedic journals.

Pathologies treated: hip pathology in young and athletic individuals (femoroacetabular impingement, acetabular labral lesions, snapping hip), degenerative hip and knee pathology (osteoarthritis, cartilage lesions, hyaluronic acid infiltrations, stem cells); knee pathology in young and athletic individuals (meniscal and anterior cruciate ligament injuries), shoulder pathology, rotator cuff, osteoporosis, flat feet, plantar fasciitis, hallux valgus.
