Dr. Vincenzo Mattaliano graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Florence, subsequently specializing in Digestive System Surgery at the same university. From 1981 to 1987, he served as a General Practitioner under contract with the National Health Service (SSN), concurrently working in hospital settings at the General Surgery Department of the Hospital of S. Miniato (PI) and later at the Hospital of Fucecchio (FI). Since September 1, 2001, he has been practicing as a freelance Phlebologist both in his own private practice and at several private clinics.

From 1981 to the present, he has performed numerous surgical procedures in General Surgery and particularly in phlebological surgery, treating varicose veins of the lower limbs using traditional techniques, CHIVA Hemodynamics, Laser, and Eco-guided Foam Sclerotherapy, as well as treating lower limb ulcers with Advanced Surgical Debridement (Versajet, Laser, Ultrasound), autologous and homologous skin grafts, and skin substitutes, along with regenerative therapy.

Areas of expertise: Vascular diagnostic Eco-color-doppler, medical and surgical phlebo-angiologic therapy, and treatment of lower limb ulcers.
