Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pisa in 1984, he specialized in Anesthesia and Resuscitation in 1987. From 1989 to 2003 he was a 1st level manager at the U.O. of Anesthesia and Resuscitation of Livorno and from 2010 to 2010 of the Artificial Nutrition Section ASL 6 of Livorno. From 2007 to 2022 he was responsible for the Livorno Operations Block until he filled the role of director.
