He graduated in Medicine and Surgery and obtained his specialization in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases at the University of Pisa. Subsequently, he pursued a period of further training as a Research Fellow at the Department of Pathology at Harvard Medical School and the Cancer Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston (USA). Currently, he is a Medical Manager at the Endocrinology Unit I of the University Hospital of Pisa.
