Dr. Gianfranco Romeo graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pisa. In 2004, he completed his specialization in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Siena. From 1997 to 2006, he trained at the Plastic Surgery Unit of the “Cisanello” Hospital in Pisa, initially as a medical student until 1999, then as a Surgical Resident specializing in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery from 2000 to 2004 at the University of Siena, and finally as a voluntary Specialist Surgeon in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery from 2005 to 2006.

From 2006 to 2008, he served as a Medical Officer at the Plastic Surgery Unit of the University Hospital of Pisa, from 2008 to 2010 in the same role at the Major Burns Center, and from 2010 onwards, he returned to the Plastic Surgery Unit of the same hospital.
