Dr. Giuseppe Parisi graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pisa in 1985 and obtained specialization in Diseases of the Digestive System in 1990. He held the position of Medical Manager at the Gastroenterology and Metabolic Diseases Department of the University Hospital of Pisa from 1992 to 2021. Additionally, from July 2019 to October 2021, he served as Acting Director of the same department.

In his 30 years of hospital activity, he gained experience in all fields of gastroenterology, from hepatology (liver diseases) to abdominal ultrasound, from digestive endoscopy to esophageal pH-manometry and H2-Breath-tests. Furthermore, he did not overlook scientific activity: he was a speaker at 10 conferences and professional development courses, co-author of 34 articles published in international scientific journals, and author of 70 posters or presentations accepted at national and international congresses.

However, his activity was predominantly clinical, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of digestive tract, liver, and pancreatic pathologies for both hospitalized and outpatient patients.
