Dr. Marco Filippeschi graduated in Medicine and Surgery and specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Pisa. Subsequently, he carried out clinical activities combined with intense collaboration with university clinics and nationally relevant scientific institutes, including the National Cancer Institute since the 1990s. He obtained specialization in General Surgery with an oncological focus from the University of Siena. He directed the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of the Empoli Hospital for 19 years.
Always attentive to advancements in obstetrics, Dr. Filippeschi has performed hundreds of surgical procedures in both benign gynecology and gynecological oncology.
Surgical procedures have been conducted applying technological innovations that have emerged over time in the field of gynecology, ranging from minimally invasive, endoscopic, and laparoscopic surgery to reconstructive surgery of the pelvic floor and laser surgery of the genital tract.
