In addition to a thorough personal and family medical history, the specialist, in order to carry out targeted investigations to accurately assess the patient’s visual conditions and consequently their clinical status, uses a corneal topographer, slit lamp, pneumotonometer, autorefractor, computerized perimeter, optical coherence tomography (OCT), and biometer.
