Phlebological Surgery
Phlebological surgery deals with the treatment of venous pathologies of the lower limbs, both in the superficial circulation (varicose veins) and in the deep circulation (DVT or deep vein thrombosis and post-thrombotic syndrome). In the majority of cases, the interventions are performed on an outpatient basis and with minimally invasive treatments, allowing for immediate functional recovery of the patient.
The main interventions performed are: sclerotherapy of the saphenous trunks, saphenous and extrasaphenous collaterals, and telangiectasias; therapy for ulcers; and treatment of lymphedema in the lower and upper limbs.
